This year, the SchoolDocs team took the opportunity to work on our te reo under the mentorship of Mary Dimond of Taimana Training. We were inspired by Mary's advocacy for the language, and were grateful for her dedication through this turbulent year.

We ended the course with this whakataukī – Kua tawhiti kē tō haerenga mai, kia kore e haere tonu. He nui rawa ō mahi, kia kore e mahi tonu. (You have come too far not to go further, you have done too much not to do more.)

We continue to work on our awareness and integration of te reo and tikanga Māori.
